Tribute to the Late Mrs. Isca Otieno

On behalf of the Creative All Stars Academy fraternity, we extend our deepest condolences while giving thanks to God for the life of Mrs. Isca Otieno—a devoted parent, one of the pioneers of our school, and a woman whose gentle spirit will forever remain part of our story.

There are people whose lives make a difference without seeking recognition. Mrs. Otieno was one of them. She was soft-spoken, humble, gracious, and kind. Her quiet nature reflected a heart filled with love, wisdom, and compassion. She never needed to raise her voice to be heard; her character spoke for her. She treated everyone with respect, encouraged those around her, and demonstrated that true strength is found in humility.

When our school was still taking its first steps, Mrs. Otieno was among the parents who believed in our vision. She entrusted us with the education and nurturing of her children and walked alongside us with faith and confidence. Her trust gave us courage during our formative years and strengthened our commitment to building a school where every learner could flourish.

Our school motto, "Endeavor to Succeed," is more than a statement—it is a way of life. Mrs. Otieno embodied its true meaning. She understood that success is achieved through perseverance, faith, commitment, and sacrifice. She encouraged the pursuit of education, believed in the potential of our learners, and supported the growth of our school through her quiet dedication. Her life reminds us that true success is measured not only by personal achievements but also by the positive difference we make in the lives of others.

The Word of God reminds us in Ecclesiastes 3:1, "To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven." While this is a season of sorrow, it is also a season of thanksgiving for a life lived with grace and purpose. Mrs. Otieno leaves behind a legacy of faith, humility, love, and service—values that will continue to guide our school community.

Though her place among us is now empty, the impact of her life remains. Her kindness lives on in the memories we cherish. Her belief in education lives on through the lives of the young people she encouraged. Her pioneering spirit lives on in the continued growth and success of our school.

To the family of Mrs. Isca Otieno, please accept our deepest and most heartfelt condolences. As a school community, we mourn with you, pray with you, and stand beside you. May the God of all comfort strengthen your hearts, grant you peace beyond human understanding, and remind you that those who live in Christ have the promise of everlasting life.

Mrs. Otieno’s life helped shape a community that will forever remember her with gratitude and love.

Today, we do not simply say goodbye—we say thank you. Thank you for believing in our school. Thank you for walking with us from the beginning. Thank you for showing us, through your own life, what it truly means to endeavor to succeed: to persevere with faith, to serve with humility, and to leave every place better than you found it.

As our Lord Jesus Christ assures us in John 11:25, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die." We therefore entrust Mrs. Isca Otieno into God’s loving hands, confident in the hope of the resurrection.

Farewell, Mrs. Isca Otieno. You have finished your race with dignity, and your legacy will remain woven into the fabric of our school community. May future generations who walk through our gates be inspired by the example you set and continue to endeavor to succeed in character, in service, and in faith.

May the Almighty grant you eternal rest, and may perpetual light shine upon you. May your soul rest in perfect peace.
